Terms & Conditions
Payment for an order is considered acceptance of these terms and conditions.
1. Order amendments
- We recommend that the client includes an overage into their order quantity to cover for changing circumstances (our suggestion is typically 10%)
- Where additional quantities are required after the initial requirement is fulfilled, these will be subjected to minimum order quantities.
- Any orders for products requiring personalisation have a 24-hour cancellation window. We are unfortunately unable to cancel or refund any personalised orders once we have commenced work.
- We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order at any time, for any reason. In these rare instances, the order value will be fully refunded.
- All files remain the property of Evelyn & Eden in cases of cancellation.
- Personalised items
- An information template will be sent to the client within 1 working day. The client is solely responsible for ensuring that the correct email address is provided at the time of order.
- Evelyn & Eden kindly ask that the client returns the completed template within 5 working days.
- Within 3 working days of receiving the completed information template, Evelyn & Eden will send a digital proof to the client.
- Evelyn & Eden kindly ask that the client provides feedback/approves the digital proof within 5 working days.
- If amends are required subsequent email rounds (2 maximum) will be completed within 2 working days.
- Only once the digital proof has been approved by the client will the order be sent to print.
- Items will be dispatched within 14 days of the date of approval.
- Clients should allow a further 5-7 days for delivery of the order although this may arrive sooner.
- Evelyn & Eden are not liable for any instance where the dispatch deadline is not met where the client has not met the agreed deadlines for return of the information template and/or approval of the digital proof.
- Evelyn & Eden are not liable for any postal delays that result in missed deadlines once the dispatch deadline has been met.
- Evelyn & Eden endeavour to exceed these timescales however, clients should account for the above maximum timeframes when placing an order.
- Non-personalised items
- Non-personalised items will be dispatched within 3 days with the exception of those purchased alongside personalised items.
- Evelyn & Eden aim to send out orders in the fewest parcels as possible. This means that where non-personalised products are purchased alongside personalised products, the items will be sent all together once the personalised items are ready for dispatch. This approach allows us to optimise delivery resources and contributes to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future.
- Evelyn & Eden are not responsible for any postal delays encountered once the order has been dispatched from the business address.
- Rush orders incur an additional cost of £20.
- Please contact us at hello@evelynandeden.co.uk to request a rush order prior to making a purchase. Evelyn & Eden reserve the right to refuse a rush order if they are unable to meet the required timescale.
- Any rush orders that are accepted by Evelyn & Eden will follow a predetermine timescale that must be agreed in writing prior to payment being made. This timescale will include:
- date for client to provide information template,
- date for Evelyn & Eden to produce digital proof,
- date for client to approve proof,
- date for Evelyn & Eden to print, prepare and dispatch product.
- Evelyn & Eden are not liable for any instance where the dispatch deadline is not met where the client has not met the agreed deadlines for return of the information template and/or approval of the digital proof.
- Evelyn and Eden are not liable for any postal delays that result in missed deadlines once the dispatch deadline has been met.
- Evelyn & Eden will send a digital proof to the email address provided by the client. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they have provided the correct email address at the time of order. Evelyn & Eden will not refund any items where the delay is due to incorrect email addresses contributing to a delay in receipt of goods.
- The client is entirely responsible for reviewing and approving the digital proof; including (but not limited to) spelling, punctuation, grammar, layout, positioning of text / artworks and content. Evelyn & Eden accept no responsibility for any errors or omissions identified once the digital has been approved by the client.
- Clients can request up to three further proofing rounds if there are any amendments to be made to the digital proof.
- Items will not be sent to print until the digital proof has been approved.
- All samples are non-personalised.
- There may be slight colour variations between print batches / sample products.
- Due to screen resolution colours may appear slightly different than displayed on screen.
- Clients are advised to order a sample to assess the look and feel of products prior to placing a personalised order. Evelyn & Eden are not responsible for perceived discrepancies where a client has not ordered a sample.
- Invitations and Save the Dates require simple self-assembly; including, but not limited to, belly bands, wax seals, vellum jackets, envelope liners.
- All stationery items have been created using standardised sizing. With this in mind, please be aware that it may not always be possible to include all the information that you want to provide on your item(s).
- We will inform you if this is the case upon receipt of your information; it is the client's responsibility to then pick the most appropriate information to be kept and/or purchase additional information cards.
- Evelyn & Eden do not currently ship outside of the UK.
- Dependent upon size and quantities, stationery orders are sent by Royal Mail, or courier. Where applicable a tracking code will be provided.
- Once the item/s have been dispatched, Evelyn & Eden are not responsible for delivery timescales / missing parcels. Clients will need to contact the relevant shipping party with their tracking code for further information.
- Delivery addresses are taken from the Shipping Address provided at the time of checkout, and that is associated with your order. It is the client's responsibility to make sure this address is accurate.
- Please note, that due to the delivery method clients may be required to sign for their delivery.
- We expect clients to check their order within 24 hours of receipt. If items are considered to be missing and/or damaged, we require to be informed within 24 hours of receipt.
- If any items are damaged, the client is required to provide pictures of both the outer delivery packaging and the damaged goods. Without this evidence Evelyn & Eden will not be able to lodge a damages claim with the courier on your behalf.
- Evelyn & Eden are not liable for any damages received while the goods are in transit.
- To protect stationery in transit, all items are very carefully packaged and leave us in excellent condition. In the unlikely event that items are damaged in transit, you must report any damaged items to us within 24 hours of receiving your order.
- Any damage reported to us after this period will not be replaced.
- In the event of damages, the client must provide pictures of both the outer delivery packaging and the damaged goods. Without this evidence Evelyn & Eden will be unable to lodge a damages claim with the courier. In this instance, Evelyn & Eden will not replace the damaged goods free of charge.
- Once reported to us, we will send a shipping label to you by email to attach to the box for it to be shipped back to us. The label is valid for 7 days only. Failure to take the damaged order to the courier service within these 7 days will result in this label being null and void and the items will not be collected.
- In this instance it is the responsibility of the client to then arrange for the items to be sent back at their own expense. Evelyn & Eden will not pay for a second consignment if the client fails to return the item to the courier within 7 days.
- Evelyn & Eden are not a manufacturer of the following items and are therefore not responsible for any manufacturing or batch differences between individual components: cardstock, ribbon, silk, embellishments, paper, pocketfolds, vellum jackets and envelopes. Discrepancies within acceptable margins are to be expected.
- Items may appear differently in person compared to on-screen and are also subject to discrepancies viewing on different devices at different levels of fidelity and brightness.
- We reserve the right to use our discretion when it comes to items that are out of stock of which our suppliers are having issues sourcing (for example vellum, envelopes etc). In most cases we will provide a suitable alternate without prior consultation, and by agreeing to our Terms you accept our alternates.
- Alternate products may differ from those shown for example we will supply 160gsm vellum bands instead of 140gsm if 140gsm is out of stock. For envelopes we may provide either kraft flecked/kraft recycled flecked/kraft ribbed envelopes if any of these are out of stock. All alternates will be of the same classification, but weights and/or appearance may differ.
- We will not exchange or replace any items that have been ordered where suitable alternatives have been provided due to stock issues.
- Evelyn & Eden reserve the right to use pictures of your stationery for advertising and marketing purposes. In this event, any return addresses / phone number details will be redacted.
- Anybody found to be using our designs or found to be copying them will be subject to legal action.
- Anybody found to be altering files sent to them, or using our files to physically print out examples will be subject to legal action. Any files, physical samples, images etc remain the legal and intellectual property of Evelyn & Eden
